Dailymotion acquires Mojo and marks a new milestone towards a European social video platform

Paris 05/15/2025 – Dailymotion, the global video platform owned by CANAL+, has acquired Archery Inc., the company responsible for developing Mojo, the highly popular AI-assisted video creation and editing app that has been downloaded more than 50 million times.

With its global user base of several million active users, Mojo is one of the leading apps for video creation. With its highly intuitive interface, ready-to-use AI features (brand kit, background deletion, animated effects), and its vast library of customizable templates, Mojo is widely acclaimed amongst content creators, brands and media outlets.

With this acquisition, Dailymotion takes a new step forward in its strategy to consolidate its activity around three key pillars:

Mojo will continue to develop and innovate in parallel with its integration into Dailymotion’s product ecosystem. Access to the tool will remain unchanged for both current and future users.
