Dailymotion’s Professional Equality Index
The gender equality index is calculated on 5 indicators that assess the main areas of inequalities between women and men in companies through a score out of 100. Based on 2023 data, Dailymotion obtained a score of 92/100.
The Professional Equality Index was created by the French government to advance gender pay equity within companies by allowing them to transparently measure their gaps and highlight their points of progress. It also creates opportunities to observe potential disparities and take corrective actions.
The score is broken down into 5 different areas:
- The pay gap between women and men: 37/40
- The difference in the distribution of individual salary increases : 20/20
- The difference in the promotion rate: 15/15
- The number of employees with salary increases upon their return from maternity leave: 15/15
- Parity among the highest salaries: 5/10
Since 2019, Dailymotion has been committed to closing the gender pay gap. This initiative comes out of the commitment to improve the Professional Equality Index from year to year and contribute to broader efforts to improve diversity and inclusion within the company.
