Dailymotion Awarded TAG Brand Safety Certified Seal for Setting Rigorous Standards to Protect Brands
Dailymotion has been awarded the TAG Brand Safety Certified Seal by the Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG), the world’s leading program to fight criminal activity and protect brand safety in digital advertising, for the rigorous standards it has set to protect brands. The TAG Brand Safety Certified Program is the ad industry’s largest global brand safety certification program and assures advertisers are partnering with a trusted provider. Dailymotion is among the first companies to receive this important and independent recognition.
“Brand safety has always been paramount for ad campaigns, but in today’s digital advertising ecosystem, it’s critical,” said Bichoï Bastha, CBO at Dailymotion. “We pride ourselves on partnering with premium publishers and offering superior inventory to advertisers while establishing a suitable environment for their campaigns. The TAG Brand Safety Certified Seal further validates our commitment to providing our partners with a premium and brand-safe advertising experience.”
Minimize Ad Misplacement
ABC, an established auditor in the evolution of Brand Safety standards, has issued Dailymotion’s audit report, dated 29th January 2021, relating to Dailymotion’s compliance with TAG Brand Safety Certified Guidelines v.1.0. Key points from Dailymotion’s policy are detailed below:
- “At Dailymotion, protecting users, brands and content owners is our main priority. We focus on surfacing content on the subjects that our users care about most.”
- “Our internal automated filters analyze video content and metadata and detect spam and explicit content based on [exclusion listed] keywords and image attributes. Additionally, a form is available for users to report inappropriate content.”
- “All Partners’ applications must be approved by our Content Policy team, and user-generated content is never monetized.”
“Brand safety is one of the greatest challenges in digital advertising, and we are pleased that industry leaders like Dailymotion are stepping forward and demonstrating their commitment to protect their customers and partners,” said Mike Zaneis, CEO of TAG. “We look forward to working with Dailymotion to raise the brand safety bar for the industry, so advertisers can be confident that their brands are protected, and their ads are placed in brand-appropriate environments.”
